The Mary Ann is the model which Billing Boats started with in 1958.  

It has been modified 4 times during the years and changed names 3 times. The ship is a typical 45-ton cutter commonly seen in the harbour at Esbjerg, Denmark; often more than 600 cutters of this type can be seen at a time. The model kit is based on the original ship drawings. Built in 1957 in Esbjerg. Tonnage 49,97 gross register ton. Length overall 18,35m. Beam 5,35m. Length of the mast 9,50m. Total sail area 7,75sq.m. Motor 2-cylinder diesel. Engine speed 12 knots. Crew 3-4 men. Fishing area – North Sea. Fishing tackle – Trawl. Haul – Firstly herring and cod and secondly trash fish.

This kit contains English translation instructions, all measurements in the booklet are in Metric.

Paints use on this model boat kit are: BB#2, BB#3, BB#4, BB#5, BB#11, BB#12, BB#14, BB#17, + BB#40 thinner/cleaner.
